Book Description

The book is written for intermediate and experienced Rhino 3D CAD users who wish to improve their understanding of NURBS and subdivision modelling methods in Rhino 3D as they apply to jewellery design and manufacturing.

Unlike most Rhino tutorials and Rhino CAD training books, this book is not just a collection of recipes for how to make jewellery in Rhino 3D. Rather, the book discusses why we use certain commands and techniques to build specific forms, and what the best practices are for creating those forms. The ultimate goal of this is to build up a holistic problem solving strategy to give the reader greater confidence in building their own original creations.

About the Author

Jack Meyer is a senior CAD tutor at the British Academy of Jewellery, a Freeman of the Goldsmiths Company and a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths.
