Tortuga helps you to evaluate the Life Cycle Analysis and Global Warming Potential (CO2e) of your Grasshopper model. You can choose between two different LCA Material databases which are direclty accessable from Grasshopper:
Quartz Project LCA Data (US/GaBi)
Ökobau.dat (DE)
Or use you own materials using a csv table. Tortuga provides a simple GWP overview of your model and lets you compare different design options easily.
Tortuga is still in beta stage. I have tested this project, but it is the first release and it might contain still bugs. Please use it "as is", it does not come with warranties.
Installation
In Grasshopper, choose File > Special Folders > Components folder. Save the gha file there. Right-click the file > Properties > make sure there is no "blocked" text. Restart Rhino and Grasshopper.
