Starfish is a Grasshopper plugin that allows parametric generation of various patterns. It focuses on 2d tessellations that can be used to create structural systems based on topological interlocking principle.
Additional Starfish components include several curve and interface tools.
More details on the logic of the main Starfish algorithms can be found in a recent paper:
Topological interlocking in architecture: A new design method and computational tool for designing building floors

To install:
- In Grasshopper, choose File > Special Folders > Components folder. Save the gha file there.
- Right-click the file > Properties > make sure there is no "blocked" text
- Restart Rhino & Grasshopper.
The release might still contain bugs. Please use it "as is", it does not come with warranties.
