Food4Rhino

RhinoCircular is a Grasshopper application developed by the Circular Construction Lab at Cornell University that allows users to evaluate the material circularity of design proposals in early design phases. It assesses a building design’s environmental impact with respect to its circularity: the degree to which design solutions minimize extraction and waste in favor of reusable, recyclable, and renewable material resources. RhinoCircular summarizes such information in a material or building passport directly on the Rhino drawing canvas for immediate feedback on design decisions.

This download includes the current grasshopper components (Version 1.1), as well as a library of 24 materials and 20 archetype constructions (.csv). The package also includes a sample canvas for your reference. 

The material library has been prepared referencing current and up-to-date environmental product declarations (EPD). The geographic boundaries of the provided dataset are set within North America and its scope aims to represent the industry's status quo of material pathways, dated 01/17/23.
