Food4Rhino

This Grasshopper component provides a method for obtaining funicular surfaces that pass through desired points through load control. The method involves generating smooth load distributions via RBF interpolation of nodal loads, which are repeatedly adjusted so that the equilibrium shape is close enough to the target points.

Installation guide:

1. Please sign in to the food4Rhino website with your account. Otherwise, you cannot download the plug-in.
2. Download "RBF_Load component" and unzip it.
3. Place the unzipped folder "rbfload" into the folder that can be accessed from Grasshopper (File->Special Folders->Components Folder).
4. Additionally, copy "Kangaroo2Component.gha", which is usually found in C:\Program Files\Rhino 7\Plug-ins\Grasshopper\Components, into the "rbfload" folder.
5. Rename the copied *Kangaroo2Component.gha" to *Kangaroo2Component.dll" (the contents of "rbfload" folder look like the image shown below).
