This is the first "mtextur.com – Buildingmaterial-Hub with free CAD- & BIM-Textures for architecture and design" Rhino Plugin. The purpose of this plugin is to access the huge high quality online material library "mtextur.com" and to access already locally saved textures. All materials which are available in this library are also available on the market. Everything is up to date. And now linked to Rhino for better implementation into the design process.   Developed by skmw.ch   To install:

  • Download the RHI file containing all of „mtextur“ Plugin.
  • Close Rhino
  • Double-click the RHI file > Click Next > Finished

  To use:

  • Open Rhino
  • „mtextur“ should appear in top menubar
  • Cick on „mtextur“ > „import online mtextur“
  • Choose object you want to assign texture
  • Go on "mtextur.com" > right-click on your chosen texture > copy image link
  • Insert image link into command line
  • Choose a folder to save texture
  • Type in a filename for your texture
  • Change display mode to rendered view

  If you want to assign already texture which you have locally:

  • Open Rhino
  • Cick on „mtextur“ > „import local mtextur“
  • Choose object you want to assign texture
  • With Open File Dialog choose the local texture 
  • Change display mode to rendered view
