This component works like AnnualDaylighting component of Honeybee Radiance with an extra input of MTCoE- Sky Scanner Data for north Indian sky condition.

Previously and conventionally, an overcast sky-model based daylighting simulations had been widely used in the industry for prediction of lux levels, DA and UDI etc which is taken from the location weather files, which usually showed excessive lux levels, sometimes, even above UDI limits.

The MTCoE Annual Daylight Plugin is bridging this gap between conventional and real sky conditions in context of North India, and it is observed that with the use of this plug-in in Grasshopper, a more precise and accurate daylight analysis can be done which shall prove useful in predicting accurate lux levels, DA and UDI etc as compared to conventional methods.
