This plugin was created because of the need to handle data, attached to geometries, more freely, analogous to 'Attribute User Text' that can be set to rhinoObjects. The plugin tries to stay within Grasshopper's typical workflow and data and geometry can be objectified in a reasonable way. Moreover, basic operations such as filtering, evaluating expressions based on the inkObject's values and sorting by the inkObject's values is possible now, fully based on Grasshopper's native data types.
Documentation and example files can be found on https://lennertloos.github.io/inkbeagle/.
Do not hesitate to send remarks, errors, suggestions on the further development of this plugin by email.
The plugin is based on the basic idea of the Objectify plugin as published by ranjeethmahankali on food4Rhino. Parts of the initial code are used in the development of Inkbeagle Data.
Custom GUI extensions such as the dropdown menu, are taken from the Karamba3d plugin for Grasshopper and modified. More information about Karamba3d can be found here.
