Acapulco is a toolset for geometry creation, analysis and organization. The commands have been proven useful in our daily work at imagine computation.
The commands of the Plug-In:
acCheckPlanarity
Overlays surfaces and brep faces with planarity information. Tolerance can be set and textdots added to indicate planarity.
acClippingBox
Bulk creates 6 clipping planes to isolate a given geometry. Planes are put on a separate layer and are grouped, for easy organisation and removal
acNameObjects
Name and systematically number selected objects. All options are organized in a specific naming panel for easy configuration.
acShortenCurve
This commands shortends curves by a certain length with a cut dynamic preview. Different cuttingstyles and options are available.
acSurfaceAngle
Calculates the angle between two planar surfaces.
acOrientOnBlock
Orients (and copies) any geometry by a reference block instance to other block instances.
acShowBlockPlane
Visualizes the base plane for each block instance. It also can be added as a surface to the document.
acBlockManager
An alternative to the native Rhino BlockManager, which allows you to filter for block names, change their names easily and displays instance counts right away.
acAddObjectToBlock (WIP in Version 1.0.2)
A quick and scriptable command to add one or several objects to an existing block definition. (Other instances of the block to change and instances of blocks that contain the block are filtered out).
