With the plugin KarambaIDEA a link between Karamba3D and IDEA Statica connection is created. One of the joints from the modeled steel structure in Karamba3D can be imported into IDEA Statica Connection for further analysis, on a detail level.

Software needed to run:
- IDEA Statica Connection 9.1 (version 9.1.51)
- Rhino 6
- Karamba3D (version 1.3.1)
KarambaIDEA makes use of the DLL's of Rhino 6 and IDEA Statica connection. Therefore, IDEA should be installed in folder C:\Program Files\IDEAStatiCa\StatiCa9 and Rhino 6 should be installed in folder C:\Program Files\Rhino 6 .
KarambaIDEA can be installed by dragging the GHA-file into the Grasshopper Canvas.
If the plug-in does not work, a GHA-file can be created by building the original source-code in Visual Studio. KarambaIDEA is not official software of either Karamba3D or IDEA Statica Connection.
Although being tested KarambaIDEA contains errors – therefore no guarantee can be given that KarambaIDEA computes correct results. Use of KarambaIDEA is entirely at your own risk.
