CreateQuadMesh plug-in, for Rhino 6 for Windows, allows you to create quad meshes using the Instant Meshes and QuadriFlow open source meshing projects.

Quad meshes, or meshes made up of four-sided faces, are useful for texturing, input to simulation and analysis software, and for conversion to subdivison models.

CreateQuadMesh supports Rhino 6 for Windows

CreateQuadMesh is free!


  • Download the plug-in.
  • Download is in Rhino for Windows Installer file (.RHI) form on Windows.
  • Double-click in the file to launch the Rhino Installer and install the plug-in.
  • When finished, launch Rhino and run CreateQuadMesh.
  • Select a meshable object and click Create Mesh.

Note, each tool requires good, valid, closed geometry as input.
