VSR WebGL Export

A picture tells a thousand words – a 3D model even more

“VSR WebGL Export“ by Virtual Shape Research (VSR) as a plug-in for Rhinoceros® 3D allows you to export any design you have created to a format which can be viewed on any other hardware. All you need is a state-of-the-art Web browser on your target device.
Simply export your data or send it right away as an e-mail to any of your peers. Everybody can access it then without installing a software infrastructure, as required by other solutions. Viewing three-dimensional data becomes easy; and communication becomes much more effective.
VSR as an innovative company is leverage for its product “VSR WebGL Export“, adopting the newly created standard for WebGL as one of the first companies in the world.

 Supported Features:

• Rhinoceros® 3D dots and notes are supported
• All other Rhinoceros® 3D model features and attributes are transferred
• Supports Rhinoceros® 3D advanced display settings (wireframe, shaded and rendered)
• "VSR WebGL Export" follows the WYSIWYG principle ("What you see is what you get")
• Send as e-mail attachment or write to your hard disk
• Distribution as ZIP file to manage complex and comprehensive data sets

Important:

Version 2.0 of this plug-in is only available when installing either VSR Realtime Renderer 3.1, VSR Shape Analysis 2.1 or VSR Shape Modeling 1.1. It works totally independant, though, and the plug-ins can be deinstalled separately, if wanted. Beside new features, version 2.0 now also supports VSR Realtime Renderer resp. VSR Analysis features!

Thanks for the collaboration but now I'm going through the following: I installed the plugin in the office, but now the HTML does not let me open in any browser, it can be?

I get the following message:

Please open HTML page in a browser capable WebGL ™ to view it CORRECTLY!

More information available at "www.virtualshape.com or" get.webgl.org.

Ah, I see. Yes, that is a bug of version 1.0 of this plug-in. The settings from display mode "shaded" are taken instead of "rendered". Workaround: Go to "Tools - Options - Rhino Options - Appearance - Advanced Settings - Shaded", and remove the switch for 2Show isocurves". Also set the Edge thickness to 0, then it looks fine.

Or even easier: Go to our homepage, and download VSR Realtime Renderer 3.1. It contains WebGL 2.0, with this bug being fixed, and some new cool features in addition to that. :-)
