VSR Shape Modeling
VSR Shape Modeling 2.0.2
Generation of high-quality Class-A surfaces with simultaneous real-time analysis of the geometry data – these options are united in VSR Shape Modeling, available as PlugIn for Rhinoceros® (version 5, 64bit).
The customary degree of control over the quality of the designed geometry is achieved with the integrated VSR Shape Analysis functionality. Existing Rhinoceros® data models can be immediately analyzed and further processed, without any additional effort and with full associativity.
In combination with VSR Realtime Renderer and VSR WebGL Export, Virtual Shape Research covers the whole process chain, from surface creation and analysis to visualization and easy communication distribution. meeting at the same time all standards of high-quality surfaces.
Supported Features:
- Simple and fast control point modeling with numerous additional options
- Curve and surface matching functionality up to G3 ("Flow")
- Blend and Multiblend functionality up to G3 ("Flow")
- Graphical handles for easy modification of the created geometry
- Integrated analyses in almost all functions to evaluate the resulting geometry
- Quick user-controlled surface creation on meshes
- Curve sketching functionality, also on surfaces and meshes
- Curve and surface approximation to simplify the geometry
..... and a lot more!
New Features in Shape Modeling 2.0.2:
- Alignment and connection of curves and surfaces with G3 ("Flow") to the symmetry axis
- Creation of symmetrical surfaces across symmetry plane
- Blend and Multiblend functionality up to G3 ("Flow")
- Improvement of the quality of trim edges in Rhinoceros 3D®
- Creation of flange surfaces from surface edges or curves

Comments
Hello.
I'm installing the plugin but can not get it to work, my problem is that I find the plugin to install it manually.
Could you tell me which folder are you staying?
Thank you very much and greetings.
Israel.
Hi,
sorry to hear you are having problems. Our installation folder by default is
C:\ProgramData\Virtual Shape Research\VSR Shape for Rhino 5 64bit
ProgramData is usually a hidden directory. I would rather like to help you get the installer running correctly then trying to fix it by hand?
Which Windows are you using? What is the exact error message of the installer? Can you send us the logfile of the installation? It is called "VSR Shape Modeling 2.0.1 - setup log.txt", and can be found in the directory you get when you type %TMP% in a windows explorer.
Best regards,
Michael
Great: Its the first option to create and analyse real Class A-Surfaces in the Rhino environment. I do not wanna miss ScaleView and direction-controlled light-line analysis anymore.
