SPM Vector Components

Plug-In for: Structural Engineering, Physics Solvers, Mathematics Grasshopper 0.7-0.8

Welcome to the WIP of SPM Vector Components!

The idea of this grasshopper add-on is provide some utilities that deal with vector fields.

To install:

In Grasshopper, choose File > Special Folders > Components folder. Save the gha file there.
Right-click the file > Properties > make sure there is no "blocked" text
Restart Rhino and Grasshopper

This is really good stuff, instead of realtime data flow from processing (which can give hard time to computer) using it in grasshopper may have better results.

We've got a new release planned for the end of October, so now is the time to post any requests!

On the menu:

- Dynamic emitters (move, rotate, and emitt, all at the same time )
- Brep avoidance (make anything into a gravity attractor/repeller)
- Speed up Collision (currently very chunky....)
- Point output list (summarizes the entire simulation - good for export to renderers)
- some kind of renderer?

Thanks for all the downloads, everybody! It's great to see these components getting used.

Let us know what you think! We're currently holding off on more development of these components because we're not sure what people think of them. So, if there's some feature you like or don't like, or maybe something you'd like to see in the future - just let us know.

i download new version but dont have collision and scale components i update component file in my grasshopper component folder..

Try deleting the SPM.gha component in your components folder and reinstalling the current version...

Quick note: In order for Collision to work properly, you must hook it up after the Scale component. We'll try to get rid of this manual control, but for now, there it is...
