Plug-In for: Architecture Rhino 5.0

Dynamic 3D Sectioning and 2D Layouts for Rhino 5.0

Helps create sections that update with model changes.  Sections can create outline curves, solids and hatches. It also create updatable 2D layout of sections.  There are many utility function to move sections, load sections locations from external file, view sectioned models (clipping) and generate 2D outlines of sectioned 3D models.

SectionTools is not ported for the mac, and the rhi does not install the plugin on the mac.

Can't install in R5. The download file is an RHI file. Running that seems to say it installed, but a restart of Rhino5 doesn't show it. Tools/Options/plug-ins to find it doesn't show a rhp file to load in?

SectionTools is a McNeel free Lab Plugin that is available only with the current version of Rhino.  It is only available for Rhino 5.

Thank goodness for this plugin. The alternative is laborious and tedious (I know because that's what I was doing prior to this)

I find the general interface a little confusing. the methodology for getting the desired sections into a straightforward document is a little involved and seems to impact on how the model generally behaves.

But given the alternative it's a minor gripe rather than majhor peeve. Personally I find Rhino's 2D export a bit clunky anyway so..

I have downloaded

Section tool plug. in.. .

But I didn't succeed to install it on Rhino 4 its extention is. RHI I instead of
