flowL
by uto
flowL is a plug-in to visualize a vector field, generated trough positive and negative point charges.
The path lines are calculated with the "Runge-Kutta 4th Order Method" short "RK4", developed by the German mathematicians C. Runge and M.W. Kutta. around 1900.
included components:
in the [extra] tab:
- FlowLines 2D
- FlowLines 3D
- FlowLines Rotation
- Equipotentiallines
this plugin was created in-between our research on non-planned settlements for our master thesis on urbanization at the university of Innsbruck | tutor: patrik schumacher
To install:
- In Grasshopper, choose File > Special Folders > Components folder. Save the gha file there.
- Right-click the file > Properties > make sure there is no "blocked" text
- Restart Rhino and Grasshopper

Sry I am new to flowL, I was wondering how its possible after you deform the curve with respect to primary shape, how to reshape it by deformed curves?
does anyone knows where can i find a tutorial for this??? I would really apreciate ur help
Hi,

Hi everyone... I'm just starting now with GH and I apologise for the dullness of my question.
It seems I cannot create a field of vectors but just one single line between two points. How can I visualise the whole field of interactions? Is there a tutorial on the plug-in?
thanks Fabio.

Fantastic stuff!
It will be very useful for optimization.
looks very nice!
very useful ! thank you so much!
