GRay — Parametric Rendering with V-Ray 2.0 for Rhino
GRay is a Parametric Material Generator for the Rhino Render Plugin V-Ray 2.0, with a flexible and easy to use interface for single renderings as well as animation. It gives you the ability to render your generative geometry directly from Grasshopper.

The functions of the first version are limited to Standard Materials. Basically this plugin writes vrmat files and loads them to your scene. So beware of using too much materials, this can expand your render time. I recommend to stay under 100, which can be achieved by making Branches of geometry for each material. See the example files for more information. You can find your renderings in a subfolder next to your Grasshopper file.
Note that unused materials in your Material Editor will be deleted! So save your files before you try out this plugin. If you have problems with empty render scenes while geometry is supplied, try to copy & paste the Render Machine (with trigger = off) and delete the old one. This will update your order of execution in your document.
Optionally, you can use the FFMPEG extension. FFMPEG is a handy video encoder which can be downloaded here (Windows Build 32 or 64 bit):
Just unpack the ZIP next to your saved GH file or copy the ffmpeg.exe to your "C/Windows/System32" folder. This will automatically create a mp4 video and a high quality gif.
GRay is not really stable and throws exceptions from time to time, so note that I am not responsible for any damage caused by this plugin. Feel free to send me bug reports.
